Television personality and digital creator Manisha Rani has achieved a major personal milestone by moving into her dream home in Mumbai. The Bigg Boss OTT fame recently gave fans an inside look at her luxurious residence, ‘Aangan’, a property she says represents years of hard work, determination and perseverance.
Located in Goregaon, Mumbai, the home reportedly cost around ₹5 crore, while its interiors were completed at an estimated cost of nearly ₹1 crore after almost a year of renovation.
Why Manisha Named Her Home ‘Aangan’
The 28-year-old actor moved into the house earlier this year and chose the name ‘Aangan’ as a tribute to her childhood and her roots in Bihar.
The entrance reflects a minimalist aesthetic with an elegant white door, brass hardware and carefully selected décor intended to create a warm first impression.
Speaking about the design, Manisha shared that she wanted visitors to feel welcomed from the moment they stepped inside.

A Spiritual Beginning
Near the entrance sits a small temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman.
According to Manisha, the placement of the temple was suggested by a priest in accordance with Vaastu principles.
The entrance also features decorative elements such as:
- A rubber plant, traditionally associated with prosperity.
- A horse figurine, considered by many to symbolise strength and good fortune.
In a light-hearted moment, Manisha joked that she started receiving more professional offers after placing the plant in her home.
Elegant Living Room Inspired by Comfort
The living room follows a sophisticated palette of white, beige and gold, creating a bright and calming atmosphere.
Key highlights include:
- A warm-toned designer sofa
- Modern centre table
- Soft textured carpet
- Automated curtains
- Spacious balcony overlooking the city
The adjoining balcony has become one of Manisha’s favourite places, where she enjoys her morning or evening tea.

A Display of Career Milestones
One corner of the living room showcases some of Manisha’s most cherished awards.
Among the trophies displayed are recognitions from her television and entertainment journey, including her Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa trophy and Star of the Year honour.
Rather than displaying every award she has received, Manisha selected a few that held special meaning while complementing the home’s décor.
A Customised 2BHK Layout
Originally designed as a 3BHK apartment, the property was renovated into a spacious 2BHK.
Two rooms were combined to create:
- A larger master bedroom
- An attached luxury bathroom
- A dedicated vanity area
The second bedroom serves as both a guest room and her brother’s room, featuring customised interiors, grey colour tones and a textured feature wall inspired by natural rock formations.

Designed for Content Creation
As one of India’s popular digital creators, Manisha intentionally designed each room with a different visual identity.
From unique wall textures to varied colour palettes, every corner of the home offers a fresh backdrop for photography and video content.
The bathrooms also feature different interior themes, allowing greater flexibility for creative shoots.
A Modern Kitchen with Smart Design
The kitchen combines functionality with modern aesthetics.
One of its standout features is a concealed refrigerator integrated into the cabinetry, helping maintain the clean visual appearance of the space.
Instead of installing a traditional dining table, Manisha chose to keep the area open and spacious.
She revealed that she often prefers eating at the kitchen counter or sitting comfortably on the floor.

A Journey from Struggle to Success
During the home tour, Manisha reflected on her early days in Mumbai.
She recalled living in a small rented apartment with limited space and even dealing with water leakage during the monsoon.
Looking back, she described Aangan as a dream built through years of dedication, calling it the result of her “hard-earned money.”
She also shared that while the initial estimate for the interiors was around ₹80–90 lakh, she kept an additional budget aside, taking the final investment to nearly ₹1 crore.
Four Balconies That Won Her Heart
One of the biggest reasons Manisha chose the apartment was its four balconies.
She said they reminded her of the tiny window in her very first Mumbai home and symbolised how far she has come in her journey.
For Manisha, Aangan is not just a luxurious residence but a reflection of years spent building a career through television appearances, brand collaborations and digital content.
